生活型

形態特徵

  • Plants usually floating or sometimes rooting in mud. Roots long, apex sheathing, with many hairs.
  • Leaves radical, emergent; blades coriaceous, broadly ovate or rhomboid or elliptic; petiole spongy, 10-50 cm long, short and swollen when floating.
  • Flowers pedicellate, ca. 15 per raceme; pedicel hairy; sepals 3, narrowly elliptic, light purple, 2.5-3.3 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide; petals larger than sepals, ovate, upper petal with yellow dot in center, light purple on margin; stamens 6, filaments curved, pubescent with glandular hairs; styles curved, hairy, stigmas hairy.

分布

  • 台灣 : introduced and naturalized; swamps, ponds, paddy fields and streams throughout.
  • 世界 : Cosmopolitan.
